“I will never forget the song of praise, when I was little I would sit on my father's lap when it was time to go to sleep, the hymn my great grandfather would sing.”
@rejimathew2252
“Wow, it's amazing! Those old Christian songs hit differently, and it's wonderful that some have been translated into Tamil. Knowing the songwriters adds depth, making them even more meaningful. Your spirit-filled singing truly reflects our Lord and gives a taste of heaven. Keep spreading God's love through your uplifting music! If every church member, from children to the elderly, glorified God with such passion, it would be like experiencing heaven itself.”
@Paulcaleb_official
“When I understood the situation that led me to write the context of these beautiful songs, my eyes filled with tears without realizing it.”
@prrejijohn4176
“Praise the Lord. Reminds me of my childhood days when my grandparents and my parents taught us during our evening prayers… sounds like heaven. Though I don't know write or read Malayalam, still songs are memorised. Goosebumps of excitement of life being lively. Lord bless you all behind this beautiful venture. All glory to the almighty.”
@sheelusl5006
“Didn't know how fast this went and my soul is yearning for more of this, to know more about the stories of heroes of faith that went before us singing songs of Hope and bringing Glory to His Holy name.”
@akhilkaringathil2258
“Makes me think of those Christian nostalgic days of my younger days. Some of these songs get more appreciated as we all face real life while God's amazing grace keeps us and provides us. I rejoice singing these songs and hope the younger Mallus around the world get to know the depth of these songs and doctrinal values it holds. Huge thank you to the Lighthouse Team's effort. Praying for the team, more and more……”
@tgtomas1518
“Beautifully presented the history of Christian songs and its origin. If we go deep into the history of those who written and composed these songs would be more profound and deep and reveals how God was working among the earlier Christians pioneers.”
@shajimathew2597
“It is 6:49am here in Europe and I bumped into this video. What a blessing to start this day with these golden songs. I'm from Tamilnadu and these songs took me back to my wonderful childhood days. My grandmother was a preacher and she dragged me to all these fellowships where they sang these songs in Tamil. Thank you for singing these old songs.”
@mjglax
“I felt like having a feast…… we eagerly await the upcoming feast / episodes. May God use the team mightily to continue being a blessing to many. Our prayers are with you – The takeaway from this two episodes is HUMILITY & Discipline (missing in this generation) - may your feet always remain grounded in humility. God bless Evg. Joy John, Bro Shibu, Stanley and team. Looking forward……”

“This episode should be called Prathyasha/hope. It was beautiful to hear the context of each song. Thank you to the Thalamurakalude Sangeetham home concert. I usually don't have the patience to listen to a 20 minute video, I fast forward, but this episode brought tears to my eyes and was engaging. Got me excited for the return of my Lord Jesus Christ.”
@ronnythomasabraham
“Tears just roll down my eyes whenever I hear you all render these great songs that stand as our heritage… I am sure it would be a similar case with many others too. Great work… thank you to the whole team!”
@AkhilSamuelGeorge
“Whenever I hear these timeless songs that Echo our Christian heritage, I am transported back to the sweetest memories sitting with my parents and siblings, singing our hearts out every morning and evening. Those were the moments that shaped my faith and filled our home with love. Grateful for the music that keeps those memories alive thank you all! Such an incredible experience.”
@jinujoseph3728
“I remember singing these songs with my grandparent's, parents as a child, worshipping and praising God. Even today, I am filled with spiritual presence.”

“Praise God for another Friday evening filled with immense joy, thanks to Thalamurakalude Sangeetham. We deeply appreciate not only the thoughtful selection of timeless hymns but also the beautiful snippets you share about the often-forgotten songwriters. The homely setting truly feels like an extension of our own family prayer time—warm, familiar, and spiritually uplifting. As a family, we especially enjoyed the rendition of "Enthathishayame Daivathin Sneham Ethra"—both the contemporary and the vintage/classical versions were equally moving. We would love to hear "Yeshu Ennadhisthaanam Aashayavanilathre" in the very old tune that my late father used to sing before his passing in 1999. I haven't heard that tune in many years, and it holds a very special place in my heart. As a second-generation Malayali who relies heavily on Manglish script, I find the song introductions especially meaningful—they provide much-needed context and connection to each hymn. Thank you for being a blessing to so many. In Christ, George Eapen”

“I really wish I had the full version of all the songs in the "Music of Generations" series without any gaps. Sometimes, something like that is very important. Sometimes, it helps to sit down and listen to something on the speaker and meditate and immerse yourself.”
@OBSIDIANSREALM-b9x
“Blessed hymns. These hymns resonates with people across generations because it speaks of hope, restoration, and the constant presence of God, even through trials.”
@jamesrsa1
“Wonderfully put together. Thanks for also the brief summaries of some of the background behind the songs. I could visualize my grandparents, parents and my church who used to sing these all the time. Praise God for the giants of faith who have gone before us.”
@drseangeorge
“Praise be to God. My mornings always begin by listening to and praying to these unique songs. The energy these songs infuse me with is immeasurable. The music of generations is an expression that does complete justice to the songs composed from the furnace of experiences without mixing them with the musical impurities of spiritual modernity. May God bless”

“A 14 year friendship ended today and then I watched this episode. Tears streamed down my face as I heard the exhortation at the end - my one true Friend is Jesus alone. It felt like a warm hug from my Heavenly Father. This episode will forever be etched in my memory for the way the Lord used it to comfort my wounded heart at the right time. Thank you, LightHouse Records.”
@jaelouseph26
“I've been following the entire series, and it's truly a blessing. The phrase "old is gold" couldn't be more fitting—these timeless songs were birthed through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and rooted deeply in Scripture. In a time when contemporary music often takes centre stage in our worship services, this is a remarkable effort to revive these deeply meaningful and spiritually rich songs. Reviving these classic hymns and songs is both refreshing and powerful. What makes this effort even more special is the thoughtful introduction given before each song. These introductions share the rich history, personal testimonies, and spiritual journeys behind the music, helping us appreciate the depth and anointing that shaped them. The musical rendering itself is beautifully done—honouring the original compositions while breathing new life into them. The arrangements are reverent and soul-stirring, with a sensitivity that preserves the sacred essence of each song. The music invites worshippers into a deeper, more reflective encounter with God. This is more than just a musical revival; it's a spiritual restoration. An amazing and much-needed effort that bridges generations through the language of worship. Thank you all. Waiting for more.”

“The meaningful songs written by the blessed devotees in the soul are presented in the most beautiful way without changing even a single note... I pray that such very blessed and unique programs will continue to come.”

“Ever since the release of the first episode, that waiting for next Friday release I'm going to miss. I have grown up listening to these songs often sung by my grandfather, so these episodes have truly been an enriching and blessed experience. Thank you Team!”
@glendaabin7182
“Really blessed series. Got to learn a lot about various songs. Now that this is the last episode, please release full length songs. These were very short and once I started praising Jesus through the songs, they got over. New music for these golden songs are really beautiful.”
